Conservation Programs

Santa Lucia Conservancy's outreach programs, which include scientific research and cooperative resource management projects, have provided for the Santa Lucia Preserve to be included as one of the UC Davis research sites in the Central Coast Region for Sudden Oak Death and related pathogens.  The Conservancy is one of several local and national conservation partners researching the disease and determining best management practices.
